You are being treated for facial paralysis and, under these circumstances, the most important thing is eye protection.
eye protection is most important, so until you receive further instructions, you should follow the following recommendations
following recommendations:

  • Because you are unable to blink you will have problems with eye protection against air and dust particles, so when you go outside you should wear glasses, preferably sunglasses.
  • Avoid touching your eye and keep it moist by frequently applying drops of serum or artificial tears.
  • At night at bedtime, a lubricating eye ointment will be applied and the eye will be occluded with an ocular patch or, failing that, with a strip of adhesive tape.
  • If the eye becomes very red and you feel severe pain when blinking, you may have developed a corneal lesion so you should contact us or your ophthalmologist.
